Week 11: Extra- Strip at Night

I had a few friends in town for the weekend and of course they wanted to experience the glitz and glamour of the Las Vegas lights.  So, as they walked around admiring the city's sparkle, I took the opportunity make a few images, enjoy.

Week 11: People of the Strip

This week I took the most pictures I have ever taken in a single shoot, 858.  I focused mainly on the people walking the Las Vegas Strip and how their images interacted with the Vegas landscape, but when I see an interesting angle possibility I can not help myself.  Here a few of my captures, enjoy.

Week 10: Boulder City

On our shoot this week my photo buddy, Michelle R. and I got lost.  I am told that is a pretty hard feat in such a small town, but we over came the odds and achieved it.  I discovered colorization this week and went hog wild.  Here are a couple of examples, enjoy.

Week 8: Las Vegas Blvd near White Cross Drugs

This week's shoot took us to Las Vegas Blvd between the Strip and Downtown.  I haven't yet done an extra session, but I do have a couple extra pictures that were not posted to Facebook.  This area seems to be my nemesis.  Last semester, I had a hard time finding subject matter that caught my eye and the same was true for this semester.  Here are a few of my captures, enjoy.

Week Seven: Life Happens

Well folks, I was hoping to go out and shoot some extras during this past week, but life happened.  This week's shoot was still done in black and white, but the focus was on capturing people.  This is one area I am not totally comfortable with yet, so I tend to use sneak attacks.  Here are a few of my prisoners, enjoys.
